Wasatch Mountains, Utah

Limited Edition of 100 Museum Grade, Fine Art Prints.

This photograph is part of my Enchanted Forest Series of photographs all taken on October 8, 2019. Aspens are my favorite trees, the grove is one giant plant organism sharing a common root system. One aspen grove in Utah, Pando, is thought to be 80,000 years old. I believe trees carry the knowledge of the ages in their roots, and to me they are magical. When I found this composition I was elated. To be able to isolate trees in the forest like this in such a beautiful photograph is enchanting. I love the layers of color in this image. The red, yellow, green forest floor, the glorious white tree trunks, and the canopy of gold make this my favorite photograph of the series.

Peggy and I talked about my specific niche of mountains and trees and then about what I’ve done to promote my photography business during this Covid pandemic it was a blast talking to her again!
