A Hope of Spring

Highway 40, Utah

Limited Edition of 25 Museum Grade, Fine Art Prints.

This photograph is part of Tom's film series of images taken between 1984 and 2006. Each image in this series is available in Limited Edition Fine Art printings of no more than 25 in the various Museum-Grade formats.

I was driving back from Vernal Utah and was climbing the grade on highway 40 before reaching the turn off to Solder Creek. I saw this scene off the right side of the road and I had to turn around and go back to take a closer look. I really love the aspen trees with snow still at their feet in the background. I also love the line of the small creek leading the viewers eyes into the photograph. The small pool with the patch of green in the lower right third is the main subject showing a hope of spring in such a wild, high place where winters are long and the snow melts slowly.

Vibrant Colors and Clarity!

The Finished print will look different than what you see on your phone or computer screen. Your phone or computer screen does not do justice to the amazing color and depth of these museum grade, fine art prints. When enlarged to sizes of 24x36 or larger these prints really explode in detail and vibrancy. Proper lighting on your prints can be key to how they will look in your home or office. Here is an article Tomas wrote about how to light your photographic art.
