Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park was the first national park in the United States and is also considered to be the first national park in the world. Established by the US Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872 this park encompasses an area of 3,468.4 square miles. Most of the park is vast wilderness that very few people see. The majority of tourists visit sites such as Mammoth Hot Springs, Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River and Yellowstone Lake.

This gallery has my favorite photography images from over the years. I love photographing the wildlife in the park but also spend a lot of time looking for different perspectives of the popular places such as Artists Paint Pots, Black Sands Basin, Biscuit Basin and Mammoth Hot Springs.
