Photographing the night sky is an art in its own right. Modern digital cameras have made night sky photography easier but we know create images impossible to do on film alone. Creating nightscape images by lighting foregrounds and blending pictures gives the modern photographer tools to create truly works of art.
Tomas created these photographs during blue hour after the sun sets or in the dead of night of the Milky Way, the Moon and Stars. Tomas loves finding interesting subjects in nature and landscapes as a foreground for these photographs. Photographing the night sky is an art all by itself because of some of the specialized tools needed. Tomas uses a tripod, electronic release and long exposure for all his night photography. He also uses a Move Shoot Move brand star tracker for many images. Tomas then blends foregrounds and skies with Photoshop, Lightroom and Topaz Labs Masking and uses Topaz Labs Noise Reduction software.
