Sometimes I just get lucky, I was wandering off the trail through the forest hoping to find interesting subjects when I came across this old aspen tree, I thought to myself "what a subject!" The waning evening light was soft and subtle giving the perfect glow to the scene. The background of red and yellow show the beauty of the forest in fall and the twisted old quaking aspen stands proud but bent from the many years of winter and wind that have sculpted its life.
