Limited Edition of 10 Museum Grade, Fine Art Prints.
When I was done photographing Ashness Bridge, my wife and I decided to do a little exploring and we hiked to the top of the hill just east of the bridge. We arrived at the top to be rewarded with this amazing view looking south to see the River Derwent flowing into the Derwentwater. The dappled sunlight of the partially cloudy day really gave a nice mood to this photograph. I love the patches of blue sky, green grass, rippled water, and the curves of the trees leaning into the frame. It really was a 'day dream' kind of experience.
