This photograph is part of my Enchanted Forest Series of photographs all taken on October 8, 2019. This autumn evening was one of the most magical I have ever had, the light was fantastic and the colors were simply stunning. I kept being drawn to this scene of these two quaking aspen trees being backlit by the setting sun and the mosaic of greens and yellows on mountain behind them. I love how the trees gave of an enchanted glow of golden yellow as if magic was springing from their leaves. The meadow grass gives the perfect foreground of texture and the white of the aspen trunks contrast beautifully in the photograph.
