I love just wandering around the forest, you never know what you will find. I seem to follow the color from one tree to another and while doing that I found this wonderful gamble oak that was naturally twisted into a bonsai shape. The fall colors were spectacular and the fact I got Mount Timpanogos in the back ground even made this photograph more appealing to me. I actually spent quit a bit of time photographing this tree and I liked this image best. I love the amber yellow the leaves had turned and the dark trunk and branches of the tree. I purposely used a shallow depth of field to separate the tree from the mountain. This is my favorite image from that whole day.
