After the gloom and cold, before the heat and dry, is a time of enchantment and green. Springtime awaits.
The Palouse is a fertile area of farmland in North Western Idaho, and South Eastern Washington known for the verdant green rolling hills. Miles of grain fields and other crops give the landscape a patchwork of colors when viewed from above. This area is a favorite for photographers and in 2024 I decided to visit the area and explore. I really need to go back and spend a week or more but this quick trip did give me two wonderful images.
