Winter meanders through my heart like a silent stream across a frozen plain. The water brings hope of spring and new life, melting snow and the sound of rivulets cascading over stone.
I have been visiting this area and fishing this stream since the mid 1980's. I love driving over the road from Fairview canyon down to Scofield when I can in all seasons and I've always been intrigued by how Upper Huntington Creek twists and turns before it empties into Electric Lake.
I drove past this spot in late winter the end of March, and caught a glimpse of the view so I turned around and went back, pulled off and setup this composition. I love abstract photographs and by only showing the viewer what I wanted them to see I created this image that shows a detail of nature most people wouldn't notice.
