Glen Coe is an amazing place. I grew up in the mountains, hiking all sorts of beautiful canyons and Glen Coe is equal to anything I've ever seen. We drove up the glen not really sure what we would see and when we came around the corner and saw this waterfall we had to pull over. Normally I would use a long exposure to blur the water, but not always. This day the wind was blowing like a banshee and I had to use a shorter exposure to make sure the image would be sharp. The late evening light playing on the snow capped mountaintop, the blue sky and passing clouds and the early spring landscape really give this image a painted look. This is another one of my favorite photographs from this trip.
