Cedar Breaks is a small gem of a National Monument that few people even know about. It is a great place to escape the southern Utah summer heat and if you stick around and are lucky you might see a classic Utah sunset. I found my spot at the Sunset View Overlook with hours to spare and photographed the changing light. The wind was brutal and I had to wait between gusts to shoot images even then I leaned on my tripod to stabilize it. I waited until the last second as the setting sun sank into the clouds and was rewarded with this classic image.
