Biscuits 'N Gravy

Yellowstone National Park

Limited Edition of 50 Museum Grade, Fine Art Prints.

I spent Labor Day weekend of 2020 in Yellowstone car camping and photographing. The park was crazy busy during the day so I would find places to hide out like pullouts in Firehole Canyon and where I could park in the shade, relax and nap. That was fine because I don't like crowds. This day I had parked at the pullout at Craig Pass and napped and relaxed until the rangers came and told us they were closing the road because of a fire burning in the area, so I headed back towards Old Faithful. I got stuck in an awful traffic jam and it took 2 hour to make it from Old Faithful to Biscuit Basin. When I got near the bridge that crosses the Firehole River I pulled off and decided to "camp" there. I ate dinner and then walked over to Biscuit Basin Trailhead to photograph Sapphire Pool during sunset. As I crossed the river I loved this perspective so I had to stop and take this photograph. The sunset light was perfect in the sky, the river made the perfect foreground and the steam drifted perfectly towards the setting sun. The river scene was perfect but the sky was the gravy this image needed.

This photograph in a 1:2 ratio panoramic.

Shown as a 36x72 inch print in a Roma Charcoal Black frame.

Vibrant Colors and Clarity!

The Finished print will look different than what you see on your phone or computer screen. Your phone or computer screen does not do justice to the amazing color and depth of these museum grade, fine art prints. When enlarged to sizes of 24x36 or larger these prints really explode in detail and vibrancy. Proper lighting on your prints can be key to how they will look in your home or office. Here is an article Tomas wrote about how to light your photographic art.
