It was my last night in the park, it had been a day of mist, sunshine, fall colors and amazing light. I was leaving Glacier as the sun set thinking I was done. As I drove along Lake McDonald the sky glowed orange and yellow and the reflection caught my attention. I pulled off and composed this scene looking west. It was only afterward I noticed the person standing on the shoreline bent over stacking stones. I cropped the image later into this 2:1 ratio panoramic for better composition.
